Stephen Kelly holds a BFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and currently is studying computer science at Dalhousie University.
He works with sound sculpture and installation, computational art works, electronics, and low power FM radio. Interested in intersections between audio art and music, he has built several unique musical instruments and produced numerous albums on his independent record label. His current musical project, with Eleanor King, is The Just Barelys.
Kelly's installations have recently been featured in solo exhibitions at the Odd gallery (Dawson) and Centre des arts actuels SKOL (Montreal). His work has also been featured in group exhibitions at the Eastern Edge (Saint John's, NF), Gallery 1313 (Toronto), Current Gallery (Baltimore) and Galleri F-15 (Moss, Norway).
