Snapshots!

You've probably seen this character out and about in this city for awhile now. He takes lots of photos. He has probably taken yours.

Randy Gibson is a Calgary based artist working primarily in photography. He has shot for numerous publications including FFWD, Swerve, Backbone, Beatroute, and also for various venues around town. He has shown at Stride Gallery, Artlife and Ideal Art Space, among others. He is the creator of the notorious Factory Parties and an organizer of such nightlife events as Celebrity Hottub(now defunct) and The Reel.

He has a photo-installation based exhibition with Jeremy Jeresky in the works at AXIS gallery in 2010. Keep your ears open for more info.

He will be presenting an interactive photo booth at the Artcity Launch Party on September 11. Come out for a preview this friday (and every friday) with THE REEL, presented by the Marquee Room (above the Uptown Theatre. Cover is only $7, doors at 9pm. 18+ please)
