This year the Calgary Food Bank will provide Emergency Food Hampers to over 140,000 Calgarians

Children make up 41% of the Calgary Food Bank’s clients.

In March 2009, 80% more people came to the Calgary Food Bank for Emergency Food.

The need continues to grow!

Please visit us during our 2nd annual Art for Food Group Show and Sale. The Herringer Kiss Gallery will donate proceeds to the Calgary Inter-Faith Food Bank towards the purchase of emergency food hampers for Calgary families in need. The proceeds of this show will go towards helping keep Calgary families fed and supporting a community effort to improve the quality of life of those less fortunate.

For each $1,000 of art sold, a family of four will be supplied with the required food necessities for one entire week.

Join us for the Opening Reception on the evening of August 19th for art, music and refreshments to help support the community. Calgary Inter-Faith Food Bank representatives will be available with information as well as tax receipts for cash donations.
