Proceeds go to the Local Library

 

Local Library is an all-ages, multi-disciplinary arts space initiated in March 2010 and located at Central United Church in Calgary. We are interested in creating room for exchange between local and visiting musicians, artists, and everyone with skills to share. This exchange can take the form of workshops, music shows, art events and other collaborative projects. All events are open to every age, and we work to make sure that there are significant opportunities for youth to participate in the exchange as active contributors. Local Library is run entirely on a volunteer basis and relies on the financial support of the Calgary community to cultivate their ideas and operate on a daily basis.
