Join the $100 Film Festival and Sled Island Film for an expanded version of the $100 Film Festival's Film/ Music Explosion! This is an annual event where we pair musicians and filmmakers to create a short film on Super 8 based on music by the bands. Each evening of the festival premieres the film along with a live soundtrack by the musical group. On Monday June 28, we will showcase an exclusive program of just Film/ Music Explosion films. Featuring music by BLIST and Dragon Fli Empire, five filmmakers will showcase their Super 8 skills. Films by Luke Black, Duncan Kenworthy, Alex Mitchell, James Reckseidler and Jamie Wensley.
