HUGLY MANGRY KILLDREN is a collaborative drawing exchange between Edmonton and Calgary artists. Establishing a mentorship between senior Edmonton-based artist Blair Brennan and emerging artists Sarah V.S. and Andrea Williamson from Calgary, TRUCK provides an opportunity for these artists and the viewing public to find common characteristics in their art. The raw, immediacy of their drawings, the playful use of text and image, as well as the irreverent and fragmentary approach to visual organization reveal areas of profound connection between the three that surpass any superficial stylistic differences.
