New Kids On The Block

August 2nd, 2008 Exciting changes are afoot at Artcity, which is already kind of like that kid who shows up on the first day of school in a completely different wardrobe and with a completely different thematic curatorial approach from last year. In the spirit of keeping everyone current, we impart the following: We have a book! With texts and images! Our first ever catalogue-publication will hit the streets in September, available at all Artcity events for free, or gratefully by small cash donation to those who are so inclined. A limited number of copies are available, so get them while you can... Our promotional material has had a makeover, too, and will appear as a special edition double-sided poster by Brandon Blommaert in select copies of the September 4th FFWD Weekly. Keeping on with the theme of special editions, Artcity will unveil a collaborative "exhibition in an envelope", the Petite Enveloppe Urbaine, as part of the Education and Outreach programming department on September 10th in conjunction with the annual video screening. Most excitingly, there is something programmed for each day of the 10 festival days in day and evening formats, so everyone can experience part of it.
